How to Comprehend the Importance of Language as the Art of Creative Communicatio...

It goes without saying that the more you know, the better off you are.  When it comes to being bilingual, you will find there are more opportunities available to you if you can speak at least one other language than English.  The great thing about learning a new language is that anyone of any age can do so.  In fact, the younger you are, the easier it is to pick up.  But even if you are an adult, there is no reason why you can’t learn any number of languages - including French, Spanish, German, Italian, Russian, or Chinese.  All you need are the right resources.  The best method to-date is via computer-based software, which uses audio exercises, video-clips, games, and spelling tests and grammar comprehension quizzes. Why Learn? There are 3 reasons why learning a new language is in your best interest:

  1. It enables you to pursue more employment opportunities.  Since jobs are already hard to come by, you need to be able to prove that the skills you possess are indispensible to an employer.  If you can speak at least two languages fluently, you can qualify for jobs in just about every industry, world-wide.  This means that if you already have a good job, you might be selected for more special projects, be asked to travel for meetings, or become an international liaison with vendors and clients in other countries.  And if you’re looking for a new or better job, your resume will stand out among everyone else’s when hiring managers see your qualifications.
  2. You become more culturally-minded.  If traveling is in your blood, and you find yourself fascinated with learning about various cultures, you will automatically enjoy learning a new language.  You will also naturally embrace all aspects of that group of people and their way of life - making you more mindful of the challenges they face in their homelands and abroad.  The knowledge you learn will provide you with endless topics of conversation.  You can be the life of the party and be considered an intellectual.
  3. You will be able to impact the lives of a greater amount of people.   By having the tools to communicate with people you would have otherwise not been able to, you have the potential to make a difference in their lives.  You can be a translator, mentor, or just a friend to newcomers to your area - whether they are new residents, employees, students, or just visitors.  And the friendships you gain can become some of the most important ones you you’ll ever have.
