We’ve all been there. It’s getting late, all the work of the day is done, there is nothing on TV, and we are bored. Boredom is not fun, and must be avoided at all cost. Luckily, God came down from on high and gave man the INTERNET! (Cue angelic music)
Now, I know what you are thinking,"But Gibbie, I’m broke, and, outside of porn, what can I do with my time?" The answer is:Plenty! There are many websites that you can burn those last precious minutes of the day lazing about on! Here is just a few of the many out there!
1. www.neopets.com: Seems ridiculous and childish, and it probably is, but there are a lot of minigames to be played, and the system of earning points and decking out a cute little creature is just the ticket in those wee waking hours. Plus, no one has to know yoru real age on there and you can decide your level of interactivity. Another bonus is you can do it anywhere, at school, at the office, anywhere there is a browser. kills about 1.5 hours a day
2. www.eeggs.com: Those movie buffs out there will love this site! you just type in your favorite movies, and it will tell you about every Easter egg down to names hidden the backgrounds! good little time waster and you can add your own if you happen to see one not listed. kills about 2 hours if you post and comment.
3. www.newgrounds.com: This website does have some adult rated material, so use your own discretion when surfing there, but when it comes to flash games and funny slide shows, nothing beats it. kills an hour or so.
4. www.funtrivia.com: This site is really fun because it lets you show off your brain’s muscle. Quizzes over any topic you could ever think of. And if you somehow think of one that isn’t there, you can make one up. It has a cool score logging system and a leveling chart so you can compete with your friends and other people online.
