Cell phone is a daily used product. We bring it and use it everyday. Therefore, we need to take care of our cell phone if we want the cell phone in good condition and prolong the life of our gadget. Here are some ways to keep your cell phones:
1. Never ever let them get wet
It is a must for every user for keeping the phone dry at all time. All type of liquid can corrode the electronic circuits or damage the electronic inside.
2. What do you do if gets wet
If you are accidentally make your phone wet, this is what you need to do.
- First, turn off your phone immediately. Don’t think, just turn it off.
- Secondly, you need to remove the battery out from the phone. You can use a towel or tissue to clean up the battery.
- Third, check whether you can take off the front cover and the keypads. Some phones have removable covers. If you can, take it off too
- Fourth, you can use a hair dryer and choose a low fan. If you have a hair dryer with cold fan, use it. You can dry the phone with a hair dryer, but if you are using a hot fan, try to keep the distance not too close with the phone.
After you dry it with a hair dryer, let the phone for about 15 minutes. Then you can put them together again and turn it on. If you find the phone is not working or blank on the display, it means the water already make short circuit on your phone.
3. For non removable covers
You may need to keep the phone away from dust or dirt. The phone cannot be cleaned up, unless you bring it to authorized service facility depending on the brand of your phone.
4. Heat
Do not leave your phone in your car or any other places that have direct contact with the sun for longer time. It can damage your phone or loosing the durability of your battery
5. Do not drop it
The cell phone is now getting better and have a higher technology compare to many years ago. Unfortunately, the higher technology of your phone, the less strength and less durability of the phone. So, you better not drop or knock it. It will affect the circuit inside the phone, especially the display.
6. Charging Time
You better pay attention on the charging time. Every phone and each brand have different charging time. By knowing your charging time, you can know how long do you need to charge your phone. Overcharging your phone can shorten the lifetime of your battery
