This website has 27,000 baby names. It can be a bit overwhelming if you aren’t able to narrow down your search. Through this website you can search by alphabet, origin, and category. Also, you will find a list of the most popular baby names from 1880-2007. Through the advanced search option, you can exclude names that contain certain letters, end with the same letter that your last name starts with, and names without a meaning. You can also search for names that have a certain amount of letters and/or syllables. This is a great website for someone who already has specific requirements for the baby name.

On this website you can explore name trends by typing in the name. On this site, there is a Name Wizard Blog that contains interesting information on names such as when it was the most popular. Additionally, you can explore names by state.
I found this website to be the easiest to navigate. Search names easily or get information about the most popular names. This website also lists celebrity names and has ‘cool name lists.’ Want to know names in fashion, Shakespeare names, spooky names? Then this is the site for you. A few spooky names that they list include Casper, Fang, and Gomez.

This website claims to be “everything you’d expect from a baby name website - and more.” Look up the meaning of your baby name and browse through the rules of thumb in choosing a baby name. They had interesting lists of names by theme such as one-syllable, places, and unisex names. This website also corrects some common misconceptions such as the meaning for Caleb. The popular belief is that the meaning is faithful when the name actually means dog. Wouldn’t want to mix that one up.
The only downer to this website is that you have to sign up and log in to get some of the information. If you want to search by themes then you have to be a member.

The two things that caught my eye upon entering this website were its’ two new additions which were America’s top unisex baby names and depression-era baby names. This website allows you to search the top 100 names by state. According to this site, the top names in Virginia are William and Madison. It also provided a list of baby naming tips. It supplies the readers with book reviews on baby naming.
Through this website you can search the meaning of 30,000 names and read article on baby naming. Some examples include Spiritual Names: An Expression of the Soul, The Guide to Choosing a Middle Name, and All-American Baby Names.
This website has lists of the most popular names by origin. Canadians love the names Ethan, Jacob, Ava, and Emily. Save your favorite baby names on this website and return again and again. You will also find statistics on baby names and meanings.
Through this site you can search through 20,000 boy and girl names. However, this was not one of my favorite sites. It was not as easy to navigate as other sites.
