5 fun game ideas for a 5-year-old's birthday party

You don’t have to have alcohol or strippers to make for a good bachelor party. There are many other alternatives that you may want to consider when throwing a bachelor party. You can have fun and not get into any trouble. Here is a list of ideas to consider when throwing a bachelor party:

1. Take the bachelor and friends out to dinner. You can have drinks and dinner and then follow up with perhaps going to another event that you have planned. You could opt for a game of pool, bowling, going to a sports bar, movie or to your house for some fun and games.

2. Have a party at home. Volunteer to be the host of the party for the bachelor and get all his friends/family together that wish to attend. You could have it catered or you could make your own food or even just order out for pizza. You could have music and dancing. You could also have bachelor party type games.

3. Get together for a night of gambling and playing cards. You could have a casino type party if the bachelor enjoys playing cards and gambling and other games. You could have prizes for people to win. Add to the fun with a craps table, a blackjack dealer and a roulette wheel. Also, you could buy scratch tickets or have your own small lottery that everyone could pitch in for.

4. Is there a certain thing that the bachelor really likes or enjoys? Like laser tag, four-wheeling, paintball, rafting, sky diving, shooting or hunting? Take the bachelor out to enjoy a favorite activity of his and get together all the guys to share in the experience.

5. Plan a trip for the bachelor party. Maybe you can’t make it to Vegas, but you could plan a camping trip or a trip to a ski-lodge or to a hiking trail. Gather up all his friends and go on a trip to somewhere you can have an adventure together.

Other tips you may want to take into consideration when planning a bachelor party:

  • You could hire a band or DJ for your party
  • Include activities like games or a type of treasure hunt
  • Gag gifts are always fun
  • Ask the groom what he wants; don’t just assume he wants anything in particular
  • Don’t throw the bachelor party the night before the wedding. Throw the party a week before or possibly even a month before the wedding, that way everyone will be sober for the wedding.
