If you are located in New York, the Bronx area I have some pricing updates for Moms and back-to-school uniforms.  At one time I lived in Queens, New York, and I would travel to the Bronx when school time came around. I realized that the Bronx has the best prices on many items.

1. AJ WRIGHT chain/outlet:  Boy’s uniform pants are priced @ $5.99; Uniform shirts @ $3.99

2. Cookies children store: Uniform pants @ $7.99; Shirts @ $3.99

3. BABY/KIDS: Regine Kids, 985 Southern Blvd.  At this store you will get the best buy for your dollar. They also have a huge selection of back-to-school uniforms and all you need. They have a large selection of baby and kids’ clothes.

5. I almost forgot CONWAYS: Uniform pants @ $9.99; Shirts @  $4.99

Here is a link to an article I found about shopping at Southern Boulevard.  I am not connected to the article in anyway. I came across it in a search.  It’s a great article about the shopping area: www.nydailynews.com/ny_local/bronx/2009/06/09/2009-06-09_savings_.html.

Times are tough out there, and we need every dime we can save.  I also discovered a new store on Southern Boulevard. I just made a purchase today, two name-brand t-shirts, $10.  That’s two for $10. NO TAX!  It’s called GIOVANNI, its closer to 163 street right on Southern Boulevard; nice, clean and well- mannered people handling the store.  They also have some really nice leather coats, jacket at great prices, women’s and men’s clothes, small and large sizes; and shoes for men and women. It will be worth the trip if you’re local.

On the strip of Southern Boulevard, you also have a Rite Aid and a variety of multiple stores, if you’re looking for school supplies, shoe stores, other clothing stores. There are also Jewelry stores, music stores, and furniture stores.   And if you get hungry while you’re shopping, guess what!  Southern Boulevard has food and places to eat as well.  What ever it is you may be in need of, It can and will be found on Southern Boulevard.

I live on the other side of town but I traveled to Southern Boulevard today to get back-to-school clothes. The prices can’t be beat by any other place in the Bronx.  You simply find the best bargains in the Bronx. Some people have a very bleak picture of the Bronx, but it’s like any other area; you have the good and bad in everything.

The Bronx is beautiful and even better when it’s time to shop.
