Planning a birthday party for a child or adult can be lots of fun. It all starts with having a smart party plan.
Birthday parties can be all lot of fun and excitement for the birthday boy or girl and guests. Putting on a great birthday party takes a bit of planning and a lot of enthusiasm. Your child’s special day can be full of laughter and fun when you pour in Al enough entertaining cavities. Having a house full of children at a birthday party can seem overwhelming to some parents. How do you keep all those kids happy you wonder.
There are plenty of great birthday party games to play. Pin the tail on the donkey is a perennial favorite. While we don’t recommend blindfolding a child and letting them stumble around the room with a sharp pain in with a few adjustments in the tail on the donkey can be a safe and fun game for children of all ages.
You can make your very own poster with just construction paper and magic markers. There’s no need to go to a party supply store for pin the tail on the donkey. And while you’re at it why does it have to be a donkey in the first place? You can make it almost any animal with a tail. Then again, why does it have to be a tail?
Why not pin the nose on the clown? Let your imagination run while. Perhaps you could make the poster more tied in with your party’s theme. If your child is into baseball why not pin about baseball on the catcher’s mitt? If you’re child is having a magic themed party why not pin the bunny rabbit in the hat? Be willing to open up your mind to many different possibilities.
While were at let’s talk about piñatas. The piñata is a popular drop at birthday parties and it’s available from party supply places in a variety of shapes. You need to be very cautious when leading children play with the piñata. If you thought giving a blindfolded child of thumb tack was a bad idea what do you think of giving the visually impaired toddler heavy wooden stick to swing around? It’s a formula for disaster!
Be sure to place the piñata in a wide open space. Have several adult supervisors keep all the other children all are away from the child who is swinging the stick. It’s a lot of fun when the piñata finally breaks open and all the candy falls to the ground. Just make sure it doesn’t turn into an out-of-control stampede.
Everybody wants their child to have a fun birthday party - but safety must be your first priority. It’s all fun and games until somebody gets hurt.
