Ground Beef Casserole
- 4 potatoes
- 1 medium onion or onion powder
- 1 (10 ¾ ounce) can tomato soup
- 1 pound ground beef, browned
- 1 can green beans or corn (your choice, both if you want)
Slice potatoes and onion; add green beans or corn, mix all into a casserole dish. Mix 1/3 cup of soup with hamburger and place on top of potatoes, onions and corn or green beans. Put remaining soup over top. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 to 1 ½ hours.
Hamburger Stroganoff
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped or onion powder
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 (10 ¾ ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- Egg noodles
Brown ground beef and onion. Drain excess fat and add sour cream and mushroom soup. Simmer 20 to 25 minutes. Serve over egg noodles.
Tasty Pork Chops
- 2 onions or onion powder
- 4 pork loin chops
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- Vegetable or olive oil
Cut onion into thick slices. Put a little oil in skillet and over medium heat cook onions until tender, put aside. In the same skillet, add pork chops and cook 5 minutes on both sides. In saucepan add brown sugar to vinegar. Heat to boiling, pour over pork chops, and add onions. Cook 5 minutes.
Pork Chops with Apples
- 2 - 4 pork chops
- 3 or 4 unpeeled apples, cored and sliced
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- Butter
Brown chops on all sides in skillet. Place apple slices in buttered baking dish. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Top with chops. Cover; bake at 400 degrees for 1 ½ hours.
Creamy Chicken Supreme
- 2 or 4 or 6 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 1 (10 ¾ ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (10 ¾ ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 ¾ cup milk
- White rice
Brown chicken breasts on both sides. Place in a 9 X 13 inch baking dish. Pour mixed soup and milk over chicken breasts. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 ½ hours. Serve with rice.
Stuffing Topped Chicken Bake
- 1 (6 ounce) package stuffing mix
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
- 1 (10 ¾ ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
Fix stuffing following the directions on box. Set aside and place chicken in 9 X 13 inch baking dish. Mix soup, sour cream and cheese. Pour over chicken. Spoon stuffing evenly over top. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
