My Personal Experience:
I live in Dallas, TX, and drive to Louisiana a few times a year. Every time I travel to Louisiana, I have to stop by Dairy Palace. The food is always cooked fresh and when you order it. You can tell by the taste of the foods, it is fresh. You may have a bit of a wait, but it is well worth it. The food tastes as if it was home cooked.
There is a great variety on there menu to suit everyone’s taste. My favorite item on Dairy Palace’s menu would have to be the chicken strip basket. The chicken is crispy, fresh and delicious (Not frozen). I love the white gravy that comes with the chicken, it is creamy and fresh.
Everything I have tasted on the menu is absolutely delicious. I have had a couple of occasions where they messed up, but all I had to do was give them a call. They will fix the problem, with a smiling face.
The employees will greet you with a smile. Every time I have visited the location, the employees are friendly and helpful. I am sure this is hard for them to do at times. They are usually very busy, but I have never noticed one being rude to any customers. You receive true southern hospitality.
If you are ever going anywhere near Canton, TX, stop by Dairy Palace. You will have a great tasting, fresh meal. The price is very reasonable, and worth every penny.
They also sell great ice cream, and great souvenirs for your trip.
