Baby showers are a very important time in a woman’s life. They will always remember the food, the friends, and the decorations. For a mother to be to allow someone to have this party means a lot. It means they trust them completely, and they know it will be unforgettable.

* Balloons are great for all baby showers. Purchase helium balloons, and release onto your ceiling, hang from chairs, or write things on with paint. You can be very creative with balloons.
* Purchase confetti, or make your own. You can scatter it across your serving table, or gift table. This brightens it up quite a bit.
* Find a small tree or plant. You can hang booties, socks, pacifiers, bibs, or small duckies from it. You will have a baby shower "Christmas" tree.
* Make use of baby bottles. Serve condiments such as mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, or salad dressings. You can also serve drinks with straws in them.
* Use cloth diapers as napkins, and pacifiers as napkin holders.
* Ducks are great. Buy a family of ducks at your local dollar store. You can line them up on the tables, counters, or windows.
* Hang baby items from the ceiling using string. You can use pacifiers, booties, nipples, duckies, or other items. Just tape one end to the ceiling, and tie the item on the end.
* Make your plates and utensils part of the decorations. Purchase these items in colors that match your theme, or in a baby theme.
* Use fresh flowers. They have a fresh scent, and give an elegant feel. You can use baby bottles as vases.
* A large teddy bear placed by the expectant mother’s chair holding a baby doll, wrapped in a blanket.
* Use baby food jars for tea light candles.
* Purchase a small child’s umbrella. Use it as a centerpiece for one of your tables. You can place bears, bottles, blankets, or any other baby item inside for decorations.
These are some great ideas for your next baby shower. You do not have to use everyone the way it is written. Make them your own ideas. Be creative and use everything around you that involves baby products. One thing to remember, the expectant mommy may want to take some of the decorations home. So do not put things out that you do not want to let go. Have fun with this experience. Make it something she will never forget.
