This is a shout out to the King of Earth, God, The King of Pop Michael Jackson, The King of Hip-Hop T.I. who is serving a weapon’s charge and to you who took the time to read this on death and dying.
To share a personal antidote, I dream of my late father last night. It was weird because my dad passed on during December of 2003. In the dream we were buying back famous documents he had pawned off during his lifetime. I put it all on my visa. Though the meaning of this passed me over like a Jew, my father was a real as T.I. on a video or Tony Stewart bumping off his comp at Daytona. And Tony your BK car really needs a makeover. For those of you who don’t know Tony Stewart shaves like every three years and when he does, it is with a hedge trimmer. His facial hairs you could find with Google Earth LOL!
Airtight back to death. The point is as much as I miss him and he died of pancreatic cancer, I was hanging out with him in a dimly lit shop of documents. To be frank, we should rejoice at death and cry at birth. Which is more painful, existence or death? Whether you are famous, in Iraq (like I was in 2007) death is part of the equation none can solve Now you can freeze yourself like the late Ted Williams, but I don’t want some robot kicking my ass because I forgot to pay a parking ticket in 2080. To sum up some of my musings, as T.I. said on his Paper Trail CD; Be thankful what you do got and not for what you don’t!" Nobody lays out rhymes like T.I. in the dirty hot black South. He owns( figuratively) a burb of ATL called ‘Bankhead.’ Alright this is free verse, so forgive my tangent randomness.
Back to death. During the Bubonic Plague of 1348, (or The Black Death, which I think is a racist label). To be honest, the reason why it was called the Black Death was due to the huge shotgun sized sores it left on most of Western Civilization. But people back then could not stop death, moved to the country, and most turned away from partying, reveries, and other dark secrets. I really think when young people like Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, Biggie Smalls, TuPac Shakur, Billy Mays (the sales pitch on got on my nerves), or the five year old Iraqi boy I tried to save in Iraq during 2007 unsuccessfully, die, it is a reset button on all of us. We stop, readjust, Then we thank God once again for the breathe we take. No matter where you are or what you do, Mr. Reaper is coming for you either with a Halo or with Horns!
If you ever go to a battlefield like Gettysburg, you will feel a larger than life presence from the death of those young boys who both Union and Confederate. They fell in thousands, probably averaging in age no more than 25. I do know that less drama leads to peace of mind. That is why I am not running for the SC Senate Seat against Demint. The point here is how much are you willing to pay for the life you have left. Do you want all that scrutiny. I don’t need a seat to make me a man, But I will write to rep God, Hip-Hop and Jennifer Aniston. Maybe in the next life, you might hear my voice.
If you have lost someone recently, I truly feel for you and will if you want, pray or write to you. But the memories of our loved ones want us to move on, and most of all BE HAPPY! Remember the good, forgive the bad, and pray for the future. I see my Dad and hear him at times that I do not want to. Kings and Queens bodies fall, but their countenances remain. We will always remember Michael from ‘Thriller,’ Farrah from Charlie’s Angels, Steve McNair avoiding a sack, Elvis in Vegas, Cobain with Nirvana, Biggie on stage with Jay-Z or TuPac hanging out on the West Coast representing Death Row, taunting all in his domain.
Remember your hero and heroines in their prime. We are not like prime numbers like 7, 19, or 5. These numbers can’t be divided, but we can be both internally and externally. To all of my contentious context creative comp out there, best wishes and good luck. With God as my help, "No One Has Swagger Like US!" or Cole Bolchoz when it comes to laying down tile of verbs which shine in time without the crime!
If we all lived to an 100, well the world would be full of Depends, Semilac, and strollers. Also predestination to me, well God has all of our death’s planned out. Certainly we all cannot perish, or have or memory card pulled at 36, 50 etc. God already has that filed away. Trust me, there are too many Saints in the History of the WOrld who died too young with no fault of their own. St. Joan of Arc saved France from England during the Hundred Years War but Charles V let her be burnt by the English. She was only 19. I know she is in Heaven. And be honest, who of you out there really desire to be around past 50, not me. FTS ($#$# that )#$@! You have to quote Denis Leary those "Diaper Years!"
So I am going to smoke my cigars, go to Mass, not drink, or do those street drugs. But I am going to run my blogs, run my mouth, run this factoidz page, making all my fans beautiful. Shout out to Perry Thomas for following me, my vote upers, love ya and T. I. for following me on Twitter.
Live on, thank on and revive those relationships you thought were dead and water the flowers! "You Wanna Be Starting Something!" (M. Jackson R.I.P.!
