What is your fear? Will a comet one day impact the earth and obliterate it to pieces, or some huge asteroid smash into the earth and wham-mo no more humanity! Truth be known from the science world asteroids have hit our planet, but we’re still around. Well some feel that that’s what wiped out the dinosaurs, I tell you one day we will have all the answers. For now though we can examine a great, dependable, reliable, old and unique book that was given to us by our Grand Creator.
You know the saying “opinions are like noses, everyone has one”. Well to give your opinion though one needs to read it for one’s self and come to realize that it’s wisdom is still practical today. Sure, many feel it’s about interpretation but read it and you just might find pure and simple logic in plain old simple black and white answers to many questions. Yes Gods word the Bible is just that book one can read and conclude what God thinks, purposes, prophesied, requires, and shows us by example of his dealing with people in those times. Ultimately the example his precious son who was with him millions of years before he made this earth our home, gives us to follow. Yes read for your self in your copy of the bible and see if God would ever allow the earth to be destroyed! Consider Him as the grand creator. Isaish 40: 28 ; 42:5 ; Eccl. 12: 1. Notice His intelligence, energy and majesty with the universe. Isaiah 40:26 Psalm 147: 4. It really humbles Einstein’s theory E=mc2. Let’s see God is full of abundant energy yet 1John 4:8 brings out that God is love. Humph!! Let’s see again God used his energy to create matter and whoa’ la! There was man floating in space. “huh?” Please forgive me for I am surely not insulting anyone’s intelligence.
All am bringing out is that He created the universe and then made a magnificent home for humans to live on and take care of and enjoy. Genesis 1:1, 1:28, 2:15. Yes, God being a God of purpose really does say about the earth that he didn’t just make it for nothing, He made it and give it to us mankind. Isaiah 45:18. Quoting one of the many astronauts that traveled to the moon “the earth hangs like nothing in the middle of space like a blue jewel in the night” Well it went something like that. Scientist have determined that if the earths axis was off by just on degree there would be utter chaos, and if the earth was a bit closer to our sun it would be too hot to sustain us puny humans or freeze us if the earth were bit further out. Again quoting several journals that I’ve read in the past. Now using your power of reason if He lovingly give us this beautiful home does it seem logical that He allow for something classmatic to destroy our earth. Well again astronomers have discerned that because of bigger planets like Jupiter and Saturn these do the job of taking the brunt of huge objects and any smaller ones that pass these planets will be repelled by the moon and thus the smaller ones that get past that burn up through the atmosphere. Most reassuring is what God say that He would never allow the earth to be destroy. Psalm 104:5. Please be rest assured that no one needs to figure out a way to repel a comet or asteriod away from our earth. Read Proverbs 3: 5, 6 and leave it to JEHOVAH GOD to take care of things. In fact read His promise for mankind at Revelations 21:3,4 and reason how can God’s tent be with man if He were allow the earth to be destroyed. It wouldn’t make sense. Yes one day real soon He will act and His purpose for mankind to live forever will still be accomplished here on this magnificent beautiful blue marvel of an orb we call home. Genesis 2:17, Psalm 104:5. Please, all I am is crediting God’s word and quoting from it. Examine it for yourself and see what you conclude and might even find more prove for yourself. The choice is ours! That is the beauty of FREE WILL. God give us the intelligence to read, meditate, consider, examine and ultimately make the choice we decide too. And that my friend no one can take away from you.
