A quote passed on to me by one of the excellent writers I follow here at Factoidz.com, Ngozi Nwabineli, says it all: "Don’t walk in front of me, I may not follow. Don’t walk behind me, I may not lead. Walk beside me and be my friend." - Albert Camus (also attributed to Maimonidies). Sent by clovers I follow 80 other writers here at Factoidz.com. It’s been difficult to keep up and I know I’m missing a lot of good reading! I’ve learned some really good stuff from you very smart, witty and talented people in the last seven months of being part of Factoidz.com. So as a token of my gratitude, I want to give out some T-Shirts.
Another brilliant writer that I’ve followed since the very beginning, Erin Maher, mentioned a "caption contest" in this very good factoid she wrote called : How to write a blog post in 5 minutes Post a simple image, comic or video related to your niche You can either let the image say it all, or invite readers to participate in a caption contest. Perhaps you can even offer the winner of the caption contest some sort of prize, if you have something to give away. A contest is a terrific way to bring traffic into your blog. So, thanks to the momentum of Erin’s musing, I drew this, hopefully not too offensive, cartoon. I would like to invite everyone I follow, or who follows me, so I guess we’re walking "side by each, next together" As my French Canadian ancestors from Rhode Island would say - To come up with a caption for the picture. This will be fun. I can imagine what yooz guyz are gonna come up wit’! If you are new to Factoidz.com, you’re also welcome to go ahead and put your caption in the comments.
After a few weeks of captions, I’ll have a bunch of T-shirts printed up with this picture on it along with everyones favorite caption under it. (So comment on the captions that are submitted too) It’s not really a "contest" per se, I’ll be giving them away by picking at random from everyone who submits a caption, or leaves a comment. And of course Erin gets one for the great idea! So have fun! Thanks for all the great info, entertainment, and support. I really feel like I’ve made some good friends here at Factoidz.com, and side by each, next together we are making this an awesome community! To any of the robots that view this cartoon and are offended, please don’t be vengeful by burying this content in the far back pages of Search Engine Results Neverland. I know that I don’t speak very highly of your kind in my articles about SEO and Google, but really, it’s a friendly rivalry as far as I’m concerned, so, take a joke…Don’t be such a robot.
