FindingSingleParents.com: A Great Tool For Meeting & Dating Single Parents

Meeting your significant other's parents: A survival guide

I’m a single father, and finding a way to meet and date women is a tough job, to say the least. With all the things going on in my life and taking care of the kids, I always wished there was a convenient way to meet other eligible (and attractive) single moms. That’s when I heard about FindingSingleParents.com. As an active iPhone user, The first thing I liked about FindingSingleParents was how the sign up page fit perfecty in my iPhone screen (sideways). The second thing I liked is that it would be free to look around some more. After a couple minutes I was in, and this was my first impression of this online dating site.

As soon as I clicked in, wham! My eyes got hit with a screen full of the hottest girls you ever saw. Are these single moms or the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders?

I mean C’mon. There were about a dozen others on that page that were at least as gorgeous as these two. They were all within an hours drive or less from my house. Yeah, right! Maybe I accidentally punched in the zip code to Planet Eye-candy, I dunno. Some might consider this a bit slippery…I call it good marketing. If a site knows what to do to draw a crowd in, even if it’s a bit hyped, you can rest assured they will know how to take care of you while you are in there. The next trick is gently coaxing the sign up fee out of your pocket. This site does that in a very gentle way, -giving you the most leeway to participate in the site for free that I’ve seen so far in dating sites.

Hey -just had an idea: Are my female readers wondering what the guys look like? Let me play them a bit, sign up as a female, and see what comes back….

What do you think ladies? Is that Demi Moore’s boyfriend on the bottom? Now there is a hot single mom… wonder if they found each other on findingsingleparents.com?

This enticement works well to get you through doing your profile. As a matter of fact, compared to the other dating sites I’ve been on, This was the quickest and easiest profile process I’ve ever been through. It was made out of these really tight clusters of questions that could be answered with nothing more than a click. Depending what you clicked on, you will see a quick drop down menu with a few more defining choices to simply click on again. The whole thing was a breeze.

They used that info to set me up with some quick matches with women. It returned about five immediately. The profiles were short, sweet, but interesting, and the pictures were nice. By the way, don’t even think about anything -but your picture. Your picture has to be well done. Go ahead, strike a pose like these charming mugs above. Even consider imitating, with your own personal spin of course, what they are wearing and how they are smiling. On any dating site you must put your best foot forward with your picture.

Some my say this emphasis on a photo likeness is shallow. I think not. I believe that a face can express more about a person than even their essay. I failed to mention there was an essay part to the sign up. I didn’t do it. It wasn’t mandatory. I’ll definitely get back to it. I’m a blogger for crying out loud, I hafta do the profile essay! They are quick, just a couple short paragraphs, no sweat. Don’t be a complainer in this brief revelation of your intellect and personality. Don’t be about what you don’t want. Even if you could never be with a smoker, or someone from a different race or religion, don’t bother to fend these groups off in your intro. It’s already in your profile questions, you know, those drop down ones I told you about?

Which brings me to the forum on this site…On my first visit, after poking around some searches and sending out some flirts, I followed an interesting conversation about interracial dating. Because I happen to be a huge fan of black girls, I checked off "YES" to -would you date someone of a different race. I didn’t participate in the thread yet, but more importantly I got to listen in on some good dialog about the subject from the black woman’s point of view. Unfortunately, many woman of African descent "don’t do pink" is the way one pretty lady termed her aversion to white guyz…pity. Well, maybe she’ll never know what she’s missing!

It may come off as a little bit racist when you consider these questions and read these forum threads. But the reasoning behind many of these girls avoiding white men was due to the racist intentions of many of these guys. How can a guy be considered racist if he is pursuing a girl of a different race? Because according to these girls, some of these guys want nothing more than to add a girl from a different race to the collection of girls they have "scored." See, never underestimate a female’s ability to see through your flimsy, clumsy facade! Females are smart! There is an old saying (which doesn’t make it true -it isn’t) That when a doctor slaps a baby on the bottom when its born, it’s in order to knock the balls off the stupid ones…Hmmm. I think it was to force the "stupid one’s" balls to pop out! You go girls! That’s the way to look out for yourselves!

"Danger Will Robinson!"

Not to sound like the robot from Lost in Space…But I got a little creeped out when I read some of the forum that covered sex topics. It was an area of some of the worst attempts at erotica writing I have ever seen with some rehashed accounts of some of the silliest sexual situations I’ve ever heard of. So be careful people. If you are planning to hook up, watch out! You could end up between the sheets with someone without brains or imagination. After a quick hump-n-grunt, you could be laying aside of someone who is thinking "Wow! That was just like playing with myself, except I didn’t need to fantasize." While you are laying there thinking "Hmmm. That was just like playing with myself, except I didn’t come." Excuse me readers, but if this paragraph was too explicit for you, then let this second warning stand: Stay out of the sex topic part of the forum…It’s much dirtier than this.

Waxing positive again, let me say that overall, FindingSingleParents.com is a very streamlined, well organized, quick and easy to use dating site. It isn’t just for single parents it seems. As long as you would consider dating someone who has reproduced, you will find plenty of people on that site. I know there was no shortage of girls to meet. Even though I did my search in a low population area of Vermont, there were definitely plenty of woman available. This site has quite a few users, no doubt -that’s where you really get your membership fee value. And, like I said, this site has a lot of value even before you become a "featured member" i.e. someone who pays.

You have some options when it comes to membership, along with a money back guarantee. You may choose one month, three months or a year….

Premium membership offers certain benefits that are unavailable to the "guests" i.e. the non paying participators. Those benefits are:

* A money back guarantee that comes with a simple phone number to call… No questions asked. (30 days)

* Your profile goes to the top of the search results.

* Access to "members only" chat rooms.

* Non-paying members can email you for free, and you can send emails for free.

* Priority phone support, and they will even scan and post a photo that you mail to them.
