How to Treat Flea Problems for Cats - Cheap!

If you have Pets then you already know just how bad Fleas have been so far this year. Fleas can carry diseases that are not only harmful to your pets but can also be harmful to you and your family as well. Currently, there are about 2,400 known species of Fleas. Luckily, there are a few Natural ways to control and eventually rid your home of flea all together. Fleas often bed themselves into your carpet, laying their eggs and mass-producing larvae. This larvae or egg is then hatched and then the cycle is repeated. Before long, your home is infested and even by using Pesticides, Flea Collars and other harsh chemicals you just can’t seem to gain control, until now. To rid your home of these pests, you will need the following items:

2 Large Boxes or Baking Soda

1 Box of Pet Friendly Carpet Powder

Vacuum Cleaner

First, open the Baking Soda and sprinkle the powder all over your carpet paying special attention around doors leading to the outdoors. Be sure to cover the carpet area as uniformly as possible. Next, open the Pet Friendly Carpet Powder and sprinkle the powder over your entire carpet also paying close attention to the doors leading to the outdoors. Once your carpet has been covered with the powders, allow them to saturate into the carpet fibers. You can speed the process by taking a few minutes to walk around and use your feet in a sweeping motion in order to spread the powder over a larger area of your carpet. Once this is complete, allow it to remain in your carpet for about 3 hours. When the time has expired, you may vacuum the carpet. It is recommended that you vacuum the carpet at least twice in order to assure you remove any larvae in your carpet along with Fleas that have been caught off guard. It is also recommended that you bathe your pet once the carpet has been treated to reduce the chances of re-infestation. You should bathe your Dog/Cat in a Flea & Tick shampoo for best results. By assuring that your Pet is clean and properly groomed can also make a big differences well. You may also want to consider purchasing a bottle of "Skin So Soft Bathe Oil" as well. This can be applied directly to your Dog/Cat while their coats are still wet after bathing. Allow the Bathe Oil to remain on the wet pet for about 5 minutes before drying your pet as normal. You should see a bid difference after the first carpet treatment. You may also spread the powders onto the mattress of your bed if your Pets sleep with you. Regardless of how you decide to use this method or how often, getting rid of the Fleas is the number one goal. I hope that this has helped some of the Pet owners out there…Enjoy!
