You may have some traumatic experience with the dentist before that cause you to be very reluctant to visit the dentist. I remember when I was a kid of seven-year-old, I was sent to see the school dentist, I was not ready to lose both my teeth at all, but the dentist just extracted my teeth by force that was the most horrible experience I had with a dentist.

To relieve your tooth ache without the help of dentist, here are some tooth ache remedies you can use them at the comfort of your home. Chewing raw onion for approximately 3 minutes is sufficient to kill all the germs in the mouth and ensure protection from host of tooth disorders.

First, you can place a piece of onion big enough to cover the affected tooth area. Then leave it on the tooth for half an hour to kill bacteria and help in pain relief. You may also bite and chew the onion for 2–3 minutes. This will release the antiseptic qualities of the onion and help the pain to subside.

Second, you can use salt water as your tooth ache cure. Brush your teeth using fine salt. Do this when you wake up every morning and before bedtime at night. This will eliminate your tooth ache. Besides, you may also swig your mouth with peppermint-salt water for few seconds until you finish the water in your glass to prevent dental cavities, bad breath, bleeding from the gums, painful gums, and toothaches.

Third, use ice as your teeth relief. Ice can help numb the ache and, more importantly, it reduces swelling. This should help with the pain. Apply ice by putting some ice cubes in a plastic bag and putting them into a handkerchief, or a small towel. Place the ice on the cheek where the affected tooth is. Remember never place the ice directly onto your skin, however, as it can cause frostbite.

The above tooth ache remedies should help relieve your pain without the help of a dentist. However, if your tooth ache remain, it is important to visit your dentist in time despite your fear of dentist. I understand that you have phobia on dentist, but most importantly, you need to know what you are most fearful of. For example, is it the tooth extraction? Tooth filling? Pliers Views? Drilling sound created? Yelling of the dentist or assistant? If you can identify specifically what your fear is and clear it, it would be helpful to clear your phobia on dentist.
