One day while standing in the checkout line at the grocery store a lady was reading through a magazine and I heard her say,” What’s so big about Kegel exercises”? I wanted to tell her all about the Kegel exercises but I choose to keep my big mouth shut. Since then I have been wondering,” How many women really do not exercise their pubococcygeus muscle, or better know as the “Love Muscle?” As time went on I found out that many women do not do this as a daily exercise. I look at it like an investment. I must do it.

First, what is the pubococcygeus muscle? Please bear with me I am in nursing school so I might get a little to clinical. The pubococcygeus muscle stretches from the pubic bone to the coccyx (tail bone) forming the pelvic floor and supporting all of the pelvic organs such as vagina, uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries. It controls urine flow and contracts during orgasm. It aids in urinary control and it helps with positioning the babys head during childbirth. Before a woman has sex or children this muscle causes the vaginal to naturally have a suction effect and it keeps the vagina very tight. The more this muscle is used the stronger it gets. Usually with age and after vaginal child birth this muscle becomes a little worn. This is why it is important to keep exercising this muscle.

Imagine that you are a guy; we women know how most guys are. Wouldn’t like to have something wet but yet tight wrapped around your penis? If I were a guy I would want somebody with tight love muscles. This exercise also makes orgasms better for you as well. So, how would you tighten your Love muscle? The answer is easy, Kegel exercises. These exercises can be done anytime, anywhere. I usually exercise my love muscle for at least 5minuets per day. I squeeze tightly for about 5 seconds then release then repeat. Now there are devices that you can purchase just to exercise your pubococcygeus muscles. Just search Kegel exercises and you can get a plethora of information as well as where to buy Kegel exercise devices. When I first started doing my exercises the best way that I found my love muscle was to stop and start my urine. I do not use any devices to exercise. Below is a senerio that I use with my husband when I want to exercise.

First I get a stop watch or any other kind of timer and I set it for 15mins. I usually do this in the den. Next I pull off his pants and begin stimulating his external sexual organs (penis and scrotum) with my hand for about 2 minuets. Then I proceed to perform penilingus(oral stimulation of the penis) while I am doing this I am doing my Kegel exercises. I am contracting and releasing my vaginal muscles with the sucking and motion of my mouth on his penis. I do this for about a minuet or until his penis is extremely hard. While he is sitting up, I straddle him and insert his penis about 1/3 of the way and squeeze for about 2 seconds then release for about 2 seconds I do this for 3 reps. and gradually work my vagina all the way down on to his penis. Then repeat the whole process until the alarm goes off. Once the timer goes off then we proceed to have regular unregulated sex or sexual intercourse. I usually try to involve him in my Kegel exercise at least 2 or 3 times per month. It’s good to keep your spouse involved so that he doesn’t feel left out.

Stop watch for 15 minutes? He must love you! You are a catch! I like it when a guy strengthens his "love muscles" too. Just give him a wet towel to hang off his erect penis for 5 minutes and bounce it up and down. He will be really popular when he can add another towel down the road...xoxo
