How To Decorate Your House for a Baby Shower

While I don’t have a baby just yet, I do know there are tons of freebies out there for expectant mothers. I, being the freebieholic I am, have come across several great resources and freebies for babies. Here are some of the best ways to get free stuff for a baby:

• Check all the freebie websites you can find, many will have listings for baby stuff: Freaky Freddie’s Free Stuff, Shop 4 Freebies, Free Stuff 4 Baby, Planning Family, Free Johnson’s Samples, Free Baby Stuff, I Love Freebies, Actual Free Stuff, Free Stuff Channel, Contest For Mom’s, Yeah Baby, The Baby Corner, Free Gifts for Kids, Babies Online, Babies.com, Best Free Stuff Online, Baby Center.

• Do a search on any search engine (like Yahoo! Or Google) for free baby stuff, you will find tons of listings.

• Check Craigslist free section daily. You wouldn’t believe how many people give away free stuff all the time, lots of the free stuff is for babies or little ones.

• Check Freecycle for free baby stuff that people are giving away too.

• Ask friends and family members if they have baby stuff they no longer need or want. Many people have baby clothing and toys that are no longer used and put up in storage.

• Many churches and charitable organizations give away baby clothing and other stuff to expectant mothers.

• Have a baby shower. Invite all your family and friends over to your house or a family member’s house to have a baby shower. Many people will bring gifts for you and your new baby. If you already have specific items make sure your guests know ahead of time what you have and what you still currently need.

• Check out Wal-Mart’s sample site which sometimes offers free samples of baby products.

• Get a free subscription to Kiwi Magazine (about babies and parenting) and coupons from Kiwi Magazine.

• Look for coupons and freebie offers in your Sunday newspaper. The paper is a good resource for baby coupons for food, diapers and other baby stuff. You may even come across a coupon for a free item occasionally.

• Check any and all baby food websites and baby product websites which may have money saving coupons or freebie offers on their site.

• When you make purchases shop the clearance racks in stores for items like clothing, blankets, bottles, bibs and all kinds of other stuff. Also, check out any local yard or garage sales in your area for cheap baby stuff.

• Check out Mom’s View, which has a listing of baby freebies and money saving coupons on baby stuff.
