What Causes Dry Mouth? How Can You Get Rid Of It?

When a person gets hives it can really make you more stressed out. Hives can be extremely itchy and dangerous at times if they end up on your neck, throat, or mouth. Sometimes finding out what caused the hives is very tricky. A certain food, material, medicine, or stress can actually trigger hives.

For the past 2 ½ weeks I have been breaking with hives all over my body. At first, I thought nothing of it until the hives became so bad that I had to go to the Emergency room. The doctor told me that my hives were caused from a food allergy and stress. The doctor ended up giving me a steroid cream, and a steroid pill. While taking the medicine, it made me very sick feeling to the point where the hives ending up getting worse. I then decided to think of home remedies that I can use to get rid of the hives and the itchiness.

The itchiness was so bad that I couldn’t sleep, my skin was getting very irritated, and it was making my day seem harder to handle especially with 3 kids. Being in the beauty industry I knew there had to be something I can use to help me. After experimenting for one week I finally have relief. There are no more hives, no more itchiness, and no more red bumps on my skin. Here is how I got rid of my hives.

Apple cider, oatmeal, and cornstarch- First step is to clean the skin. Use a very mild soap. Try to avoid any soap that contains a fragrance. Make sure you rinse your skin with cool water. The colder the water the smaller your hives will get.

Second step- After you have rinsed the soap off towel dry your skin. Make sure your skin is completely dry.

Third step- Mix ½ cup of plain oatmeal, ½ cup of cornstarch, and a ¼ cup of apple cider into a mixing bowl. Mix the mixture up until you have a thick consistency. Make sure the mixture is not watery. Place a glove on and apply the mixture to the areas with the hives. Allow this to remain on the skin for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with very cold water and towel dry. Once the skin is completely dry apply a very small amount of vegetable oil to your skin. The oil will help keep your skin moistened and help the hives from reappearing

Lime juice, honey, and a drop of Epsom salt- Follow the first step mentioned above.

Second step- You will need 1 fresh lime, 2 tablespoons of honey (of any kind), and a pinch of Epsom salt. If you don’t have Epsom salt you could substitute and use Sea salt.

Third step- Rub the fresh lime onto the areas with the hives. Allow the lime to soak into the skin for 10 minutes. Then mix the honey and salt into a bowl. Place a glove on and apply to the skin. Leave the mixture on for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with very cold water. Towel dry and stay in a cool area.
