As a full-time work-at-home woman, the first thing that I do when I wake up is switch on my laptop and TV. One day while I was formulating the optimal production volume for two plants somewhere in the US (production volume that will minimize total production cost), I saw a show in CNN that made my day. Rather, I read a phrase on the show that caught my attention – “I make a killer bowl of instant noodles.”

For those who are not familiar with this phrase, the show is CNN’s ‘The Food Bachelor’ where bachelors who virtually do not know how to survive alone in the kitchen compete to become the newest host of a food talk-show that the network is developing. These guys are real ‘dumb’ in the kitchen. I am proud to say that even if I don’t know how to cook, I am a real smartass in the kitchen compared to these guys. Who would cut himself dicing parsley? Even I knows beet when I see one.

Anyway, “I make a killer bowl of instant noodles” led me to thinking on how freelancers, especially those who work from home, can live healthy. Definitely being able to make a killer bowl of instant noodles is NOT enough. Eating right is the key.

Fortunately, I have a brother who is a public health graduate. Yesterday, he told me the suggested food diets for each blood type. This means that a person should eat more of the foods allowed under his or her diet profile while in moderation for the rest. This is one way us, freelancer, can live healthy and have more time to do all we need to write about.

Below is a simplified version of the food chart that my brother showed me.
