How to lose weight the practical way, without the fad diets

In a world where the image of being skinny is over whelming people to the point were they are willing to do almost anything to be thin.  Why not be healthy and fit.  What is over weight exactly?  Its a social tag that corporations put on people so that products can make money.  If I said you where something that you weren’t but I have the way to make it go away I could be a millionaire.  I do not have a sure fire way to make you thin what I do have is a plan to make you healthy.  I know many people that doctors consider over weight to be more athletic and healthier than many others that are skinny or thin.   Like I said this is not sure fire and there are flaws to everything but trying is the first step to success.

Exercise everyday for 30 minuets.  Yeah I said just 30 minuets and 8 oz curls do not count.  Theses are 30 minuets of an activity that you do not do everyday.  Walking for 30 minuets down the block, plates, Tae Bo, martial arts, basic sit ups/ push ups,  step ups, wii fit, and there are some many activities I cannot name them all.  Like I said 30 minuets a day 7 days a week.  To better your chances do 30 in the am 30 in the pm.

Sleep is every important.  When your sleep deprived you get sick because your body is confused.  Your not letting it slow down to heal and recuperate so any progress you do make will be very little.  8 hours of sleep seems hard to get but its not our of the question.  6 good hours of sleep is good for your body and when you wake up you should feel rejuvenated.  Yeah some soreness will persist but it will go away.

Stop drinking soda immediately.  Soda has no nutritional value and contains phosphoric and other acids.  Just to make sure you understand acids break down things not build them up.  Drinking soda also dehydrates you and constipates you.  This causes your body to reabsorb the fluid and retain it.  Drinking just water is not always good.  It flushes much needed electrolytes out of your body.  Gatorade is great but again watch your sugar intake.  I find Vitamin water to be the best but unlike Gatorade it doesn’t contain the same amount of electrolytes.  If you find that you cannot stop drinking soda switch to diet or drink two 8 oz glasses of water per one can of soda.

Eat responsibly and you can have whatever you want.  Now the key word here is responsibly.  Two steak dinners and no breakfast does not qualify.  In eating you want to almost trick your body into increasing you metabolism.  Six meals a day does this and its easy to eat.  Now this is were responsibility and reasonable come in to play.  A reasonable breakfast would be two eggs, three pieces of bacon, a piece of toast, and a glass of milk.  In between breakfast and lunch eat a 100 calorie snack or maybe a piece of fruit this should be at about half way to lunch in timing.  Eating lunch my be almost as important as breakfast being that if you eat a late dinner it can be up to eight hours till your next meal.  Not to worry though there is a snack in between.  For lunch do not over do it.  A sand which and a bag of chips will do well.  A cheese burger with fries from a fast food restaurant will also do just do not over do it.  In between lunch and dinner eat another small snack as in a 100 calorie package or fruit/ vegetable.  For dinner A good meal looks like this steak, potatoes, green beans, and a cookie.  Again do not over do it.  After dinner at about 7:30-8pm eat  a small snack fruit/ veggie.  After 8 pm do not eat do not drink anything.  Let your body cool down and start getting thing slowed down and digested.  Dinner should be your biggest meal being you will sleep it off.

I will say it again there is no sure fire way to loose weight just ways to be healthy.  This will help alot and it will make you feel great.  If you miss a meal keep going the rest of the way.  One meal every once in a while will not hurt.  Not eating everyday will.  Your body will hold on to things when you do not eat.  If you starve your self and deprive your body when you do eat your body will take that food hostage and will not give much of it up.  Good luck and live well.
