People OnPage is a web browser add-on that lets you see profiles and pictures of other People OnPage members. People OnPage will also let you see which members are visiting the same websites as you. This program lets you share basic information about yourself to other members. You can communicate to other members via instant messages and email.
When you install People OnPage, a toolbar will be inserted to the side of your web browser. This toolbar will have photos of people that are on the same website you’re on. It will also include their name and country they live in. You can communicate these people by hitting either the Chat or Email button.
This program can be useful if you want to meet new people with the same interests. If you visit the same websites, you obviously have something in common. People OnPage has also served as a dating service to many people. There is a free version and a premium version of this program. If you decide that you don’t want this program anymore, this tutorial will guide you through the process of safely removing the software from your computer.
The first thing you need to do to uninstall People OnPage is click the Start button located at the bottom-left corner of the desktop. Once the Start menu opens, click the Control Panel icon. If you are using Classic View, you will have to click Settings before being able to open the Control Panel. Once the Control Panel window is open, double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon. Upon doing this, you should see a window containing a list of all the programs currently installed on your Windows computer. It may take a few minutes for this list to populate, so you will have to be patient. You will have to look for a program labeled POP! Once you find the program, highlight it and click the Change/Remove button. A confirmation screen will appear when you click this button. Simply click Yes is you want to continue uninstalling the program. After that, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the uninstallation wizard. When you are finished, reboot your computer to complete the process.
You may still be registered with People OnPage. Since you deleted their program, it would be wise to unregister. To cancel your account, sign into People OnPage with the email address and password of the account you created. Click the Controls button and select My Account. After that, click Registration Information. Click Unregister from POP!. You will then need to enter your email address and password again. You will then be asked to choose if you want to unregister from POP! Dating or POP! completely. Click the Unregister button.
