Unless you are an absolute animal lover, all other folks would think it is absurd to even consider a spa for a pet. I on the other hand, actually give my own dogs their own spa treatment at home. I have been a dog groomer for over 20 years and I am not so sure they appreciate the “personal” service of baths and the works. However, a day at the spa can be a whole lot more. After all, we love our precious pets and they deserve star treatment with the unconditional love they give to us in return.
If you have the resources to give your pet an occasional day at the spa, or if you are going on a vacation where you must leave your pet for a week or weekend, check into all available kennels near and around you, as many do offer a lot of the spa treatments. Some of the amenities can include their own “room”, special grooming while there, massages, a special treat, special play time and more. Of course, the more they are afforded while in their care, the more it costs. It is unfortunate that everything does have to be at an expense but, again, sometimes those extra features and luxuries are well worth the extra monetary sacrifice.
Call various pet spas in your local areas to find out all that they offer. Most will also have a feline “wing” away from the dog areas where each kitty will have their own “condo”, toys and special treatments as well. All pets are always well exercised under the watchful eye of staff and are well socialized. Many of the spas include special diets, will administer meds as directed by you, may include a pool, their own beds and so much more. The sky can be the limit so be sure that you call several places, and compare all amenities and costs to choose the right place with comparable luxuries for your best furry friend.
I would suggest visiting the spas of your choice before making a final decision. Pictures do not always exemplify what is really there. A right choice would be the most economical amenities with the best professional and luxurious look, which is as clean and lavish as they have described it to be. Of course, all places require that you are up-to-date on all vaccinations. I am sure that you as a responsible pet owner definitely would not have it any other way.
