Vermiculture saves a lot of money, as it is considered to be on of the most effective natural fertilizer. What comes out of the worms is used to fertilize the soil, so you don’t have to buy much manufactured fertilizers when you have Red Wigglers. They are considered to be an effective way to dispose all the food wastes and scraps. This way you can recycle all the wastes you have so that you can benefit your farming operations and garden your place in cheap but effective way. Vermiculture is simply defined as the process of using worms, like Red Wigglers, to transform human and kitchen wastes to materials rich with nutrients. These nutrients materials have a major impact on the farm soil and make plantations of vegetables more natural and efficient.

Red Wigglers are considered to be the best types of worms that you can use to do the process of Vermiculture in an optimal way. They differ from normal earth worms as they don’t exist in the soil as their natural place, instead they live on the environments full of decaying organisms and rotting plants, which make it the best candidate for fertilizing the soil of farms by exposing this soil to wastes and food scraps to ensure the best Vermiculture natural process.

The materials which are rich of nutrients come from the Red Wigglers themselves. With one pound of Red Wigglers and half a pound of food wastes daily, you can produce those natural fertilizers that will benefit the soil for months to come. When the worms eat the waste, they produce castings, poop and manure, that stuff act as the rich materials to fertilize the soil. This process of Red Wigglers eating wastes and then excreting vermicast is called Vermiculture.

The process of Vermiculture takes place in composting bin, which is a place where a large number of Red Wigglers is grouped together and put into their perfect environment. Then food wastes and rotting stuff is put into the bin with the worms. The result can be highly concentrated materials that can be spread all over the farm soil and do magic as a large amount of industrial fertilizers. This compositing bins are the best place to make Vermiculture by using Red Wigglers. Those bins are easily constructed with simple materials, or can be bought with a cheap price, but have the ability to provide the worms with the perfect atmosphere for a perfect Vermiculture process.

Most of farmers nowadays are using Vermiculture as an alternative method which is cheap and as effective as all the industrial fertilizing products. This process can benefit all the aspect of being a farmer. All the farm wastes can but with Red Wigglers and the worms will consume all the wastes in a timely manner. This gives the farmer the chance to not to harm the surrounding environment by all the large amount of wastes produced by most of the farms activities. Then he can save money from fertilizers by performing Vermiculture which comes as a natural result from putting wastes and Red Wigglers together. After that, the worms can be used as bait for fishing or for hunting harmful creature that inhabit farms like owls and rats.
