Stress related insomnia is affecting more working women now. Researcher calls this more serious disorder after AIDS and cancer. As number of working women is increasing all over the words, their worries and responsibilities are also increasing leading to stress. Dual responsibility of managing home and workplace put them in tight situation. It’s hard to make sleep a priority when there are so many other things haven’t been done for the day. Sleep equals doing nothing, and doing nothing is such a low priority that we are way out of practice

Medicines are not the answer to the problem.
Reduce the level of stress of working women.
Helping the working woman out with domestic chores and sharing the burden of parenting can often do away with her stress.
Time to relax, should be given at workplace.
You should talk to your friends, spouse, parents or even grown up children about your problem.
Make the bedroom a restful heaven – including comfortable pillows, proper ventilation and dark curtains.
Don’t mix personal and professional life.
Accept yourself as you are.
Take a vacation.
Sleep restriction therapy or reconditioning therapy (treating the bed as a place for sleep and sex only – not watching TV or even reading
Avoid alcohol and caffeine before bed – rather drink a glass of warm milk
Doing regular exercise – but nothing too vigorous just before bed
Relaxation therapy to reduce stress and body tension.
Proper well balanced diet with fresh fruits, vegetables and fiber
Reappraise your life and your priorities
Indulge yourself to experience your emotion
Take medical help if needed.
