Web 2.0: This term describes the new Internet. The complete metamorphosis of the World Wide Web hasn’t taken place yet, so this Web 2.0 deal is all about the things to come.
Keywords are going “Bye-Bye.” This will be a good thing. AWSEO (Articles written for search engine optimization) will get much more creative and original and of course very much less promotional and a lot more informational. Ya think they might even begin to pay homage to the art of writing? Who knows, but let’s hope for the best as we remember that we also can have a cumulative say in what the best is –that’s what Web 2.0 is all about.
I like math, and I also like to write. I enjoyed writings words while exchanging pronouns with just the right amount of subject names required attaining a keyword density of at least 2% in order to get the search bots to give it a blessing, but not to exceed 5% and get flagged: Spam. This was a challenge, and fun…For about the first five minutes.
Does it not suck to have to, as a writer, not only concentrate on the right words to choose but to have to also count them and adjust and edit as you calculate and stay within a certain percentage of use? It never improves the quality of the writing in any article I’ve done. On sites like EzineArticles.com, overuse of a keyword, any word for that matter will render your article “rejected.” Hint: Publish your articles on Factoidz.com instead.
In my Factoid: http://factoidz.com/the-future-of-seo-and-how-it-will-affect-content-producers/ The scene in the crystal ball that I am describing is probably Web 3.0.
I think with Web 2.0, search engines are going way beyond counting keywords. I think that they will be able to judge content on much less static criteria, like: relevance, completeness, accuracy, readability and even the popularity of the author of the information, regardless of where it is posted. It will take a good and knowledgeable writer, not a calculator to stay above the fold.
Before robots will be able to do this completely without (human) adult supervision –Web 3.0 and artificial intelligence…They will need guidance. This guidance will come from human intelligence. When the robots can observe enough human choices, and see human intelligence and preference at work, it will be able to imitate it; artificial intelligence is born.
I see myself and my fellow Factoidz.com Contributors as the people that are going to stand in as role models for robots. What we call good content, will be the standard for good content -and the results the search bots will return when someone searches that topic. Who we call a good author and expert in a topic will get the robot apprentices paying them the utmost, front page respect.
So let’s keep reading, contributing, commenting, assigning expert tags, and voting. Factoidz.com has them some love potion, and they just slipped it into Google’s drink. It isn’t going to be long before crowds of search bots are going to have sweaty palms over us Factoidz Experts; with our tags and votes on our informative and interesting articles, and comments on all our topic pages.
How many Factoidz have you posted? Do you have 5,000 page views? Did you make $15.00 in Adsense revenue? Can you imagine your Factoidz collection getting 50,000 views -per day? Can you do the math? Did you get $54,750.00/ year for an answer? That’s right!
