If you are like me your remember when Elvis Presley died and all the rumors that went on. I remember people saying they say him all over the place and his death was just a hoax. That he was tired of being followed and not having a regular life, etc.
I was wondering if we will soon be hearing such things with Michael Jackson.
The stories are similiar as:
- they both died of drug overdose.
- They both had closed caskets so no-one was allowed to really view the body.
- They both had people from all over that loved them
- They were known worldwide
But here is my thought with Michael Jackson, as I find his passing a loss for all.
No matter what you think of the "accusations" that went on around him, you still have to admit:
- He was the greatest performer ever.
- There will never be another Michael Jackson!
- He changed music and the meaning behind the "music",
- He was way ahead of his time and in each song he had a message.
- His songs will be played just as Elvis for years and years to come.
- He was loved by millions of people worldwide and will not be forgotten.
- In fact, even people who were "not into this type of music" enjoyed Michael Jacksons songs.
So is Michael Jackson still alive?
Yes, he will remain so as his music will continue to play on in the hearts and minds of many and I am sure will be passed down to all generations to come. I don’t know of anyone anywhere who has not heard of Michael Jackson.
I still have the very first Jackson Five album/ record and regardless of what charges were lodged against him (I do not know if they were true or not) I still liked his message and his music. He was always for humanity and kindness, for loving and uniting and for trying to bring people together and breaking the "race" issue.
We all need to look at "the man in the mirror" and change "his ways" (or hers), and start to see that each of us together make a whole and that we need each other.
Both young and old know the name: Michael Jackson
And I am hoping (as rumors go) that his children have his gift and will continue on in his name.
