How to meditate easily and effectively with Binaural Beats

How to Meditate for Beginners. It's as Easy as One, Two, Breathe.
How to meditate

With such stresses in the world, one needs to learn to focus their mind and body. With the help of meditation, one can achieve such goals. Unfortunately, many of us don’t have the time or the patience for meditation. So what can we do?

Simple. We listen to "Binaural Beats". This is the key for helping out the beginning meditator. With the help of binaural beats, the meditative process moves along much quicker then if you were just meditating without the binaural beats.

Binaural Beats are simply two separately distinct frequencies that you listen to with headphones. One ear listens to one frequency while the other ear listens to the other frequency, while creating an inaudible rhythmic beat that allows the two brain hemispheres to synchronize with it. Here is an example of how it works. Let’s say in the left ear, you listen to a 100 Hz tone, and in the other ear, you listen to a 105 Hz tone. By doing this, a 3rd tone was made at 5 Hz, which in turn allows for the synchronizing of your brain with that 5 Hz tone, helping the user meditate more easily.

Below are some of the different types of states that our brain can achieve. For achieving a meditative state, you would want to synchronize your brain around the 4-7 Hz range. If you want to achieve a more alert state, you would want to synchronize your brain around the 13-38 Hz range.

- Delta waves (below 4 Hz) occur during sleep.

- Theta waves (4-7 Hz) are associated with sleep, deep relaxation (like hypnotic relaxation), and visualization.

- Alpha waves (8-13 Hz) occur when we are relaxed and calm.

- Beta waves (13-38 Hz) occur when we are actively thinking, problem-solving, etc.

I suggest researching as much as possible about this topic over the Internet. There are so many different sites that have put forth many years researching binaural beats as well as producing their own CD’s that you can purchase. There are also certain programs for the computer that you can use to create your own binaural beat, such as "sbagen".

You still need to be serious about meditation and must do it regularly for it to have a long lasting effect on you. I hope you enjoy yourself on your upcoming spiritual journey. I hope this has helped in your search for an easier meditation. Enjoy.

I liked this a lot Nathan! One constructive critique, if I may...It left me wanting a bit more. I think you should include some links to the sites where you recommend further research. Also, I didn't get where the "beats" come in, although I like how you explained the frequencies. Is it the slightly different tones that cause a kind of "audio illusion" of rhythm, like when tuning a guitar? Great job though! Keep 'em coming. I'm voting it up, and I'm going to follow you.

It is wonderful and imagine as if we are also hearing it not just that our ears are receiving it. Thanks!
