For thousands of years, parents have been subjecting their children to naps until they just can’t take it anymore. Yet, when an adult wants a nap, it just seems pointless. There are so many things to do in a day, and so many things that could get done in the time it would take you to fall asleep.
But what if I was to tell you that taking naps is really really good for your adult body? In truth, it is probably better for you than anything other than exercise. Studies have come out recently that have shown that napping can revitalize a tired mind and bring energy back to the body, especially in the working world.
There are even some corperations who now have "napping stations" and designated times of the day that each employee is allowed to nap for. What an idea!
There are many of us, who have to get up before the sun does, and then try to keep ourselves awake till the wee hours of the night. Between work and home, there are just so many things to do, that its hard to stop and just take some time to relax.
