EXTENDED BIO

I am passionate about the care and treatment of people with diabetes and have authored two books regarding diabetes that are concise practical guide for patients and their families. I serve on the Virginia Diabetes Council and I am a member of the Professional Section of the American Diabetes Association and serve on their Executive Community Council. I have received ADA/NCQA Provider recognition for providing quality diabetes care. I currently work as the diabetologist and medical director for the Johnston Memorial Diabetes Care Center. I frequently lecture to patients and providers regarding diabetes and it's related conditions.
