I'm a follower of Christ, wife of 17 years and mother of 2 zany kids; that's the important stuff. I'm also a free- lance writer, an academic tutor, and an ad hoc baker and cookie decorator. My goal is to get certified as a consumer credit counselor. I have many passions, but gourmet cookies are definitively the passion-in-demand. In truth, you could avoid my writing, though I might advise against it, but few can resist an Italian almond sweet or chocolate coffee shortbread.

You could say I literally started at the bottom.
