With today’s hectic schedules, many people are opting to send email or eGreetings instead of getting a card at a shop, buying a stamp and using snail mail. There are thousands of eGreeting sites out there on the Internet, but a lot of them give your name to other companies that spam you to death or want you to join using a long questionnaire. So how do you send out an eGreeting that won’t clutter your email box with tons of unwanted emails from companies you don’t know? Try using some of these websites I use that are totally spam-free!
Want animated cards of all kinds? There are also silly videos and other cards online. Check this Christmas card out for a sample: http://www.flowgo.com/funny/9252_merry-christmas-around-world.html. The site provides a web link in an email to your recipient and that’s it. No spamming, nothing to buy. If you want to join, it only takes about 30 seconds to sign up and create a user name. If you don’t want to join, you can still view and send free eGreetings. They have a disclaimer that specifically tells you they will not sell your name or pass it on to sister companies.
Want a card that “sparkles”? Try visiting www.123greetings.com or go right to Christmas cards at http://www.123greetings.com/events/christmas_treelight_day/. This site also contains Winter Solstice cards for those that do not celebrate Christmas as holiday per se. You can personalize this card and the site’s disclaimer states that they will not give your information to anyone unless it is part of legal action.
- How about Victorian greeting cards? http://www.victoriantradingco.com/cards/cardselect.html has beautiful vintage cards and never gives your information away or sends you spam emails. You don’t have to join or fill out anything except the personalization information for your card.
- Free Christian eGreetings can be found at http://www.dayspring.com/ecards/ . Lovely instrumental music included in most of these cards. This site will also email you daily Inspirational messages if you want to sign up for them.
These sites are spam-free and contain both musical and silent eGreeting cards and postcards. They have other features and the Victorian site sells items as well. The good thing about these sites is that they do not require you to join and you can send as many eCards as you like. You now have three web sites that allow you to send free cards for any occasion coupled with the knowledge that your email inbox will only be a full as you want it to be!
