OBGYN

Step 1

Determine if you are getting your menstrual cycle in a timely fashion, or as you usually have. A missed menstrual period is one of the first signs that you are indeed pregnant. However, you may miss a period and not be pregnant. If you find that you are not pregnant and are missing periods consult a doctor.

Step 2

Ask yourself, do I feel different? Are you sick in the stomach at times that you usually do not have an upset stomach? Do you think you are hungry, but when the food arrives you just no longer want to eat it? Do your breasts feel tender? Are you tired more often? Do you get dizzy? Are you constipated, do you have trouble going to the bathroom? Do you have morning sickness, do you feel like throwing up or do you throw up? Do you have headaches cause by the change in hormone levels? Things may begin to smell stronger when you are pregnant. These are all common signs of pregnancy symptoms.

Step 3

Go to the store, and purchase an home pregnancy test. If you want to be sure that the test is accurate follow the directions on the insert to a tee. If you have only been pregnant for a few days the pregnancy hormone in your system may not show up at all times during the day. The pregnancy hormone shows up best first thing in the morning in early pregnancy.

Step 4

Decide if the color of your urine has changed. If it is a different color this may be another indication if you are in your first trimester of pregnancy. The color of your urine may or may not change, this varies on your body and what you put into your body.

Step 5

Check to see if your clothes are fitting differently. Do they feel tighter? Do you feel bloated more often than not? If you have an unexpected weight gain, this may be a sign that you are pregnant.

Step 6

Finally to be completely sure, you should visit your OBGYN for better accuracy. It is important to know if you are pregnant as soon as possible, so you can get the proper prenatal care for you and your unborn baby. The best way to determine that you are pregnant is to visit the doctor. All pregnancies differ, as do the symptoms of pregnancy, it is wise to see a professional to get the best determination as possible to tell if you are with child.
