The book is not finished. You may feel like all hope is gone, and everything is over and done with. But this is not so because the book is not finished yet. Like with the tests of time, dry seasons, and lonely seasons all must pass. These things come to pass. They cannot stay as long as your life is in God’s unchanging hand. So far you’ve tried to write the story of your life. You thought that you knew what was best for you, but you were wrong.
The songstress Yolanda Adams used the line in a song, “sight beyond what I see, He knows what’s best for me.” And she is absolutely right. So far with you being in control of the book, you’ve written a less than average story for your life. You have made some mistakes, or made a lot actually, but let not your heart be troubled because all is not lost as yet. Surrender all to Jesus, and hand the pen over to the one know as, “The I Am, That I Am,” and let Him write the rest for you. Whatever the situation you may be in right now, if you just humble yourself before Him (God), and let Him write the rest, you’ll be amazed at the outcome.
It doesn’t matter what you did last night, yesterday, or even last year, let Jesus fix it for you. Just surrender all to the Sympathizing Jesus, the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords, and He will fix it for you. My question to you is, “Is there anything too hard for the Lord?” The answer is NO! He can make any crooked path straight; he can turn your mourning into dancing, just give Jesus a chance and watch Him work it out for you.
It’s not how you start, but how you finish. The Bible declares that the end of a thing is better than the beginning of a thing. So remember the best is yet to come, just hand the pen over with trust and adoration to God, and let Him write the masterpiece of a lifetime. Hold on because the book of your life is not finish yet in Jesus’ name. Amen
