The year is 9002 and I live in Acirema, which is the most powerful country in the world. For the forty years the organization that I belong to has been laying the foundation to take over Acirema and mold it to our way of thinking. The process has been slow but we are very patient and have been able to permeate their society with our people and our ideas.
I have been chosen to begin the final phase of the takeover because I seem to have the ability to speak to people and effect their thinking. The word that has been used to describe my oratory abilities is charisma. I can be devious when necessary, charming and glib when it suits the need. The really wonderful thing about my job is that I don’t really have to think about the policies I inflict upon the people, the boss writes everything for me. All I have to do is read the teleprompter and look serious.
Perhaps you’re interested in our agenda and how we hope to accomplish the takeover?
With this particular group we’ve had to be very careful how we have worded things because they aren’t all naïve. The really big problem is the fact that most of them worship a God that seems to help them. What we’ve had to do is slowly and carefully put their God to death. Not an easy task, but do-able because they have grown fat and lazy over the years and they’re not paying attention a good part of the time. Many of them still talk about God but it’s mainly lip service, nothing serious. So far we’ve been able to bring their economy down almost to the point of the depression we caused years ago. There doesn’t seem to be a need for a depression yet, their patriotism is at an all time low and they are very vulnerable. We’re controlling the banks, wall street, their automobile industry and most if the news media. Shortly we will be in control of communications, which will stifle a part of the negative things that are being said on talk radio.
The television industry is going to be extremely hard to defeat; there are some commentators that have a large following and they’ve caught on to the plan. Some people have begun to complain but I think we still have a good chance of success . The big thing will be our health care plan because it’s a large portion of their economy and if we succeed we’ll be able to eliminate a large portion of their population over the next several years, their seniors: they’re close to dying; they won’t be missed.
Since we’ve been in control of their oil and food supply for years all that remains is gun control. As soon as they are disarmed we will be able to do anything we want, with very little concern about retaliation. Oh there will be some hollering and crying but that won’t matter. They’ll have to do as they’re told. What’s that old saying, all’s well that ends well.
