What is the Difference between Hemp & Cannabis?

If I were to be looking at a Hemp Plant and a Cannabis Plant, how would I know the difference? Not only that, but are there any really big molecular differences between the two plants and their reactions to our bodies?

Hmmm, just taking a wild guess here, but I think they are both the same plant.
They call the fibers of the plant hemp (has various uses) and the leaves of the plant cannibis (has various other uses).
At least, that's the way I understand it. :)
