I’ve browsed this site now - not thoroughly, but enough to know this.
1. Amazing people - what skills and willingness to SHARE them without profit or attitude!
2. Interesting moment in history - when some of us may need a boost of esteem, income, hope or perhaps just something fun to do
3. Sets a GREAT example for the sprouts. Kids need to see adults WORKING and SHARING their skills - as the only “tithe” (donation) that really matters is something given to a perfect stranger just because… you have it, and they need it
Well, I’ve seen at least TWO commercially viable ideas already - by people who are knowledgeable. I had one and posted it on electrical savings today… just as a comment.
I have an amazing education (I’m not bragging - it is due to a particularly attentive Juvenile Court Judge named Judge Mauch in Fort Wayne) and it is in Psychology, Mass and Public Communication, Marketing and Trend Analysis/Mass Media (Purdue and Miami of Ohio). I’m technical enough to also have worked as a service engineer in Ford Motor Company’s Parts and Service division to apply my diverse background to markets and technical problems not responding to the IE or MBA guys. I did well, and am now retired but work a lot - to be productive.
Lots of us appear to have online time sufficient to be very aware of good vs less likely ideas… and you know what, ANY commerce that adds value in the USA is almost a DUTY to follow up on for the benefit of our kids and jobs - especially for the thousands of veterans and disabled that need to be welcomed as heroes and given every opportunity.
Who thinks this might be a good idea? FACTOIDZ for PEOPLE, not for PROFIT, but enough to spread around nice and tasty for all who want to enjoy doing this together!
