White distilled vinegar is the perfect cleanser, it eliminates most mold, bacteria, and germs because it has a high level of acidity. Using vinegar is a great way avoid harsh chemicals AND it environmentally friendly and economical.

Try adding 1/2 a cup to your mop bucket or carpet steamer, especially if you have pet and young children. Wouldn’t it be great to know your floors are just a little more germ free than usual AND it should make your tile floor shine.

Half white distilled vinegar and half water is a great cleaning tool for refrigerators and microwaves. It will not only kill germs but remove odors as well.

For stubborn odors wipe down surface with full strength vinegar and then clean with a damp cloth. Try full strength vinegar on greasy surfaces like your grill or kitchen exhaust fan and the area around it and freeze it into cubes to remove odors in your disposal and help clean the blades.

Use full strength distilled white vinegar to clean all your bathroom surfaces, it will kill germs while helping to remove mildew, grime and soap scum (make a baking soda paste to scrum stubborn soap scum).

Spray vinegar on your grout and leave it for a few minutes before wiping it clean.

Remember, it’s white distilled vinegar. It’s cheap, kills germs and removes odors AND it’s environmentally friendly. What more can you ask for?
