Hair loss is a problem that has been affecting a lot of people all over the world for a very long time. The decreased growth of hairs and increased shedding can be caused due to a variety of reasons including: illness, surgery, stress, hormonal problems, pregnancy and even some medicines can also cause hair loss, for example many antidepressants are known for causing hair loss. There are just as many hair loss treatments and medications available as there are causes, over the counter medications, hair care products, restoration surgery are just few examples. However, depending upon the cause, it can be fairly easy to treat your hair loss through vitamins.


If you have ever looked at the ingredients that many of the hair growth product contains you may have noticed that usually they all have some similar kinds of hair growth vitamins. This clearly means that vitamins are important for proper hair growth but the question is which vitamins? Well, before we get to that, there is another important thing that I want to discuss here. It is quite common to see people with eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia nervosa or even orthorexia nervosa, losing hairs faster. So before you take on a vitamin chase marathon you might want to make sure that your diet intake is taking care of your vitamins and proteins needs.

There are also many people who think that vitamins have nothing to do with hair loss or vitamins alone cannot help you grow your hairs back. The confusion lies there because some people go on with hair growth vitamins products without researching the actual cause of their hair loss and since there are several causes of hair loss it is quite logical that vitamins alone might not be the answer to your hair loss problem if the cause is not the lack of vitamins.

There are several hair growth vitamins products available over the counter but any product you use should contain the basic vitamins such as vitamin A, B Complex and H. As you might be well aware that vitamins are very important for our body, it is better to make sure that your food consumption is giving you all the vitamins you need and try avoiding vitamin supplements but if for some reason your diet intake is not enough for your vitamins needs, make sure that you fulfill the vitamins needed for your body through supplements. For example you should avoid excess intake of vitamins that contain amino acid since your diet is enough to take care of all the amino acid needed by your body but if you are strictly vegetarian you may not be getting enough protein through your diet, in this case a vitamins supplement is a good alternative to accomplish your body
