What men really want?
Understanding that each person is different, I will give you generalizations that will need to be tailored to your situation. The things that immediately come to mind are food, sports and sex; not specifically in that order. If you can put a good or great in front of any of those three, you are filling most needs of a man.
Men are supposed to be the emotional rock in relationships; however men want someone that can emotionally comfort them in tough times. They want to know they can communicate their feelings without appearing to be a “girlie.” Men want to appear that they can take care of their woman (at least the good ones do). Even if their woman is making more money than them, the man wants to be able to provide for his woman. That is natural as the role of the man, which is to be the hunter. Let the man be the man.
Men want to be attracted to their woman. Beauty is within the eye of the beholder and women want someone attractive on the arm. This is especially true for younger men that have not learned the important aspects of a successful relationship. It is often stated that women have security issues, but so do men. With so many attractive people in the world, men want to feel that their woman only has eyes for them. By stroking his ego, it diminishes his feelings of insecurity. Men want a woman that is supportive. Yes, he may not be doing as you would, but he is giving effort. Sometimes it easier for us to dismiss all the great things a person does and point out 1 or 2 flaws that they have. Earlier, I identified that men want a woman that lets them be the man. Men also want an independent woman. A woman that can handle her business, take out the trash and kill bugs, if needed. Most the times a good man will do these things for their woman, but it is very attractive seeing a woman that takes this initiative.
Overall, take your chances and roll the dice at love. Men want a woman that can be honest and real. If he doesn’t accept you for who you are then don’t want him.
